Black Jack: The Dark Dealer

Made in 72 hours for MoonJam 2022 Winter - Theme  "Everything is not as it seems/Something is up/Facade"

It's Black Jack, but also some other stuff happens :) The game will slowly evolve while you play.

Some bug fixes, and visual effects added. Bingo should now complete properly, and replacing a card can only be done once a round. The balance is still whack :) I'll have to mess around with the money numbers later.

Concept was originally making a sort of roguelite black jack game where the rules keep changing, changing cards for dice and other ways of randomizing numbers like spinner wheels, giving the random numbers attacking stats, etc. Turns out getting through the logic for deciding 5 card Poker hands from more than 5 cards takes a lot of code if you don't know what you're doing and there was no time for the other stuff after including bingo and black jack rules. :)

Art is literally just squares and Unicode characters smashed together.

Issues:

Only setup to run at a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Animations are frame rate based because I was really tired and not thinking - this could cause problems with 3 Card Monte staying on the screen if you have less than 150 fps, though it's a fairly lightweight game. (On my list of things to fix later if this game actually gets traction)

Q: Why can't I buy potions?

A: You're not hurt... yet.

Q: Is there a win condition?

A: Yes, but it will probably take a while to get to and needs some luck. You first need to unlock all the prizes from the bingo boards, and buy the last item from the shop.
